If I was to ask you to name a woman whose words could life, inspire, empower and encourage you, who would that be? Most of us would probably name someone famous and overlook the obvious wise women in our lives. So now I will ask: who is a wise woman that is in your life on a regular basis? Who is she?

When you are fortunate to have a wise woman, and I bet you have more than one, in your life, you should take every opportunity to ask questions, listen and learn from her. Usually we don’t write down what they say, but that is ok, because wisdom speaks directly into our being – soul, hearts, mind. It wonderfully permeates and expands who we are on this beautiful planet.

Today, I have turned towards a famous woman, one who expresses wisdom in pragmatic ways. You may even know who she is as you read her words below. But, I am not revealing who she is until the end, because I want you to focus on the words. Let them sink in. One or more will most likely speak directly to where you are at, in this very moment. Hang onto it, internalise it, share with women that you love and tease out how you can action it in your life. Let the wisdom guide you onto more successes for yourself and others. You have all that it takes.

Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe.

Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.

Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher.

The big secret in life is that there is no big secret. Whatever your goal, you can get there if you’re willing to work.

Turn your wounds into wisdom.

I believe that one of life’s greatest risks is never daring to risk.

I know for sure that what we dwell on is who we become.

Often we don’t even realize who we’re meant to be because we’re so busy trying to live out someone else’s ideas. But other people and their opinions hold no power in defining our destiny.

The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.

Understand that the right to choose your own path is a sacred privilege. Use it. Dwell in possibility.

Which quotes spoke to you and why? All of them point to ways in which you can mobilise your successful year that has just become. I hope that you will share some of those successes in the comment box, I would love to celebrate with you. Did you work out who spoke these words?  Well it was Oprah Winfrey. Thank you Oprah. When a woman selflessly shares her wisdoms, we all benefit and the place becomes a better one for us all.
